Get in touch, or just come by.
The stand is open daily and doesn't need an appointment. For everything else, text is fastest in season; we're in the field from 6:30 and check the phone at lunch and after 5. Email gets answered within two days, usually at night.

Directions
From Viroqua (10 min): US 14 west 2 miles. Left on County Road P. Four miles; we're on the right after the second bridge over the creek. Red mailbox, red awning.
From La Crosse (45 min): US 14/61 south through Coon Valley and Westby to Viroqua, then as above. Or, prettier and five minutes longer: County Road P all the way from Westby.
From Madison (2 hrs): US 14 west the whole way. You'll pass through Richland Center and Readstown. Turn right on County Road P two miles before Viroqua.
Parking: gravel lot by the stand, eight cars. Don't use the farmhouse drive. Trailers and buses can turn around in the barnyard; email first so we move the van.
Winter: County Road P is plowed but the last mile is a ridge and it drifts. If the forecast says wind over 25 mph and we have a pickup scheduled, check the weekly update before you leave.
Working here
Seasonal crew, 2027
We hire in January for April–November. Three positions, 40 hours a week, $18 to start, a full share, and lunch on harvest days. Experience helps but we've trained people from nothing. Send a note with what you've done and why you want to do this.
Worker shares
Six spots, four hours a week for a full share. All taken for 2026; the waitlist is on the signup form. Members who've worked a share get first call for the next year.
Volunteering
Garlic harvest (mid-July) and garlic planting (mid-October) are open work days: show up at 8, we feed you, you go home with garlic. Dates are posted in the weekly update a month ahead.
