For restaurants, shops and the people who pour for a living.
About a fifth of what we make leaves the hill in cases rather than in visitors' trunks. We keep that list short on purpose, so that every account gets the wine and cheese it actually wants, when it wants it, from someone who knows the farm.
Wine
Self-distributed in Michigan.
We hold a Michigan wine-maker license with self-distribution, so in-state accounts buy from us directly. Marit or Jonas delivers between Traverse City and Petoskey on Tuesdays and to Grand Rapids and Detroit on the first Wednesday of each month. Minimum order is three cases, mixed is fine. Out of state, we're represented in Illinois by Lakeshore Wine Merchants and in Minnesota and Wisconsin by North Country Selections.
Cheese
Whole wheels, half wheels, or cut.
Leelanau Tomme (9 lb wheels) and Bay Blue (6 lb cylinders) ship year-round to trade accounts by two-day ground, or go out on the Tuesday wine route. Juniper Ash and Suttons Bay Fresh are available to restaurants within the delivery routes only, made to order with a week's notice. Wholesale pricing is roughly 35% below the tasting-room counter; whole-wheel pricing is better still.
Terms
Net 30, and we remember who pays.
New accounts are pro forma for the first two orders, then net 30. Pricing is held for the calendar year and sent with the January line sheet. We allocate Blaufränkisch, Pét-Nat and the library wines by account history, so a standing order gets you more of the scarce things than a one-off ever will.

Trade visits
Sommeliers, buyers and kitchen teams are welcome any Thursday or Friday by appointment: a walk through the rows, a tasting from tank and barrel, and the cave with Tess. We cover lunch. Bring the people who'll actually be selling it.
